Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment No. 17 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-2, issued to the Commonwealth Edison Company (the licensee), wh ich j
revised Technical Specifications for operation of Unit No. 1 of the Dresden Nuclear Power Station (the facility) located in Grundy County, Illinois.
fhe amendment is ef fective as of its date of issuance.

This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications i
regarding the requirements for primary-containment integrity.
The application for the' amendment complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations. The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by'the Act and.the Commission's rules and regulations in-l 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.
Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since the amendment does not involve' a significant hazards consideration.
