e Appendix A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Commonwealth Edison Docket No. 50-10 Company Docket No. 50-237 Docket No. 50-249 Based on the inspection conducted on February 2, 3, 7, 8, 14, li, 22, 23 and 24, 1978, it appears that certain of your activities were in noncompliance with NRC requirements, as noted below.
Items 1 and 2 are deficiencies.
1.
Units 1, 2 and 3 Technical Specifications, Section 6.5.A.2 records relative to principal maintenance activities be main-tained for a period of five-years.
Contrary.co the above, the licensee's control of completed safety related work requests is inadequate in that records of all completed safety related work is not being maintained.
No further response is required.
Unit-2 Technical Specifications, Section 3.6.C.5 requires an 2.
orderly shutdown in the event the primary coolant conductivity exceeds 5 uMho/cm with steaming rates greater than 100,000 pounds per hour.
Contrary to the above, on February 12, 1978, Unit-2 primary coolant conductivity reached a maximum of 9.2 umho/cm and remained above the 5 umho/cm limit for a period of approxi-mately two-hours. No further response is required.
