.i Enclosed for review by the ACRS Regulatory Activities Subcommittee are fifteen 4
copies of Revision 1 of the draft regulatory guide, " Lightning Protection for Nuclear Power Plants", Value-Impact Statement, Discussion of Public Comments dated December 22, 1980 and copies of the public comments.
The guide was initially considered by the Subcommittee on May 3,1978 and on January 3, 1979. The enclosed draft guide reflects comments received from the subconmittee and its consultant, the NRC staff and the public.
The guide was issued for public comment in August 1979.
ACRS concurrence in the main Regulatory position is requested.
