20555 Dear Mr. Ahearnet It is hard for me to understand why Unit I of the ?Jee Mile Island nuclear installation has been kept from cperating for so long.
I have heard that some consideration is being given to permitting it to resume operation in the very near future.
I hope this is so.
At a time when the country is suffering from the consequences of importing foreign oil, it is hard to understand why a major energy plant that does not depend on foreign 1:qports is not being use.d.
