~
Electric herewith submits a proposed revised schedule to recommence substantive proceedings in this matter.
The proposed schedule is as follows:
1.
January 12, 1981 -- date by which General Electric will submit its revisions to the Consolidated Safety Analysis Report and any other submissions' required under 10 C.F.R.,
Part 72; 2.
February 26, 1981 -- date by which all of the parties will submit any proposed amendments to contentions and motions for leave for additional discovery, which the parties believe are justified by promulgation of 10 C.F.R.,
Part 72; 3.
March 19, 1981 -- date by which any other party may respond to any proposed amendments to contentions and any motion for leave for additional discovery, which are filed by the other parties.

]
General Electric believes that this schedule is the most expeditious and orderly way to proceed in view of promulgation of 10 C.F.R.,
Part 72.
The schedule will enable General Electric to conform its license renewal application to Part 72, first, and will accordingly avoid a needless review by the Intervenors and NRC Staff of General Electric's previous abmissions, which were not made under Part 72.
Thereafter, all the parties to this proceeding will have ample time to review General Electric's submissions and to suggest any modifications to the proceeding they believe are appropriate.
Then the other parties to the proceeding will have an opportunity to respond to those suggestions.
General Electric is authorized by Intervenors Illinois and Rorem to represent to this Board that they concur in the appropriateness of the proposed schedule.
General Electric is also authorized by the NRC Staff to represent to this Board that it has no objection to the Board's adoption of this schedule.
Accordingly, General Electric requests that the Board enter the proposed schedule.
Respectfully submitted GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY By OF COUNSEL:
