f/0DIFICATIONS TO BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLAUT FUEL HANDLING IM3TRUCTIO:'S

1. An SRO is required to ba on tha refuel floor to nupervise core alterations. He is located in a control station within a reasonable distance of refuel operations and must be properly relieved kefore leaving the refuel floor.
2. The Fuel Assan51y Transfer Form (FATF) vill require a hold point chee' toff for fuel bundle orientation. Tbc rafuel bridge operator will verify correct location and orientation before and after fuel arrembly movement. An orientation error will require a separate FATP signoff to correct the criantation by by the reactor operator.

3 Procedures will require an independent, second party veri-fication of fuel ascembly location and orientation by a qualified individual during core alterations.
