In your letter you raise the question about establishing a local Public Document Room (PDit) for Yankee-Rowe.

Local PDR's for the use of the local public in the vicinity of proposed nuclear reactor sites have been established since 1972.
With respect to plants, like Yankee-Rowe which were already licensed

to operate in 1972 and for which there were no public hearings

scheduled, local PDR's generally were not established. However, in
=Er response to your request, which indicates a growing public interest in the Yankee-Rowe plant, we are now looking into the possibility of

establishing a local PDR in the vicinity of the site. This local PDR would be supplied with a copy of the Yankee-Rowe license together with t'ee Technical Specifications, and documentation on all recent and future licensing actions and other catters concerning the health and safety of the public.
We hope his information will answer your question. We will advise you of o sr final arrangements for setting up a local PDR for Yankee-Rowe.
