Dear Mr. Miller:
The application for renewal of facility License R-83 for continued opera-tion of the Nuclear Science Center TRIGA pool type reactor was subnitted on July 2,1979. Because of administrative changes within The Texas A&M Univer-sity Systen, it is necessary that changes be nade to the renewal application, the Safety Analysis Report, and the Technical Specifications for License R-83.
These changes establish the Texas Engineering Experiment Station as the licen-see and all future correspondence related to licensing natters should be for-warded to:
Dr. W. Arthur Porter, Director Texas Engineering Experiment Station College Station, Texas 77843 The Financial Considerations (Attachment I to the License R-83 renewal) are not altered by the proposed change. As stated in the Financial Consid-erations, the Texas Engineering Experiment Station is a part of The Texas A&M University Systen and is identified for legislative appropriation purposes as a separate state agency.
It is requested that the enclosed pages be substituted for the corm-sponding pages in the following documents:

Technical Specification 6.0, Administrative Controls 3.
The Safety Analysis Report, pages 124 and 125 Your attention to the submitted changes to License R-83 will be greatly appreciated.
