Dear Mr. Eisenhut:

Responding to your letter of October 1,1980, please be advised that Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO) does not have any safety-related equipment installed at its Bailly Generating Station Nuclear One (BGSN-1). Construction of BGSN-1 has been halted since September of 1977 awaiting NRC concurrence in BGSN-1 founda-tion piling installation methodology. NIPSCO will review this subject when BGSN-1 construction is resumed.
