Gentlemen:
4 This letter is to document and confirm the agreement reached this date between Mr. J'.
- Partlow, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commis-sion,and Mr. R. J. Schwensfeir, Jr., Texas Instruments, Inc.,
regarding extension of the deadline for reconciliation of the most recent (August 27, 1980) physical inventory taken at Texas Instruments.
Specifically, Texas Instruments finds that, while the plant ID for the inventory is well within the calculated LEID and all regulatory limits, there is one MBA account and one ICA account which exhibit ID's of the order of 8 to 10 grams (and of opposite algebraic sign).
Texas Instruments-requested an extension of the reconciliation deadline to permit further investigation of the MBA and ICA records.
We expect completion by October 1, 1980, to which date >k.
Partlow agreed in the abovementioned telephone conversation.
Sincerely,
'f.+4.urf J. SwelQf.
