71*01*11 SERIAL Enclosed herewith is Amendment 84 to the Company's Application Construction and Operating Licenses containing three (3) signed originals and five (5) copies of: (1) Revision 3 tn the Midland Plant Security Plan, (2) initial issue cf the Suitability, Training and Qualification Plan, and (3) initial issue of the Safeguards Contingency Plan.
Revision 3 of the Security Plan replaces the previous issue, Revision 2, of the Security Plan in its entirety.
Revision 3 contains revised material and supplemental information which updates the physical security plan to address the most recent requirements of the NRC security regulations.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 73.55 we are also submitting multiple copies each of the separate documents entitled, " Suitability, Training and Qualification Plan" and " Safeguards Contingency Plan." These plans are generic in nature and have been accepted by the NRC for the Company's other two nuclear facilities.
Provided with this submittal is a new larger hardcover binder containing the three plans described above.
Please use the Revision 2 Security Plan multicolor divider tabs from the existing smaller security plan binder by inserting them into the larger binder issued herewith in the order specified in the " List Of Effective Pages" prefacing the Revision 3 Security Plan. The obsolete smaller binders with the superceded pages and deleted tabs are to be returned to Consumers Power Midland Project Safety and Licensing Department with your receipt acknowledgement form.
