requesting institution of a proceeding to assess the need for power from Georgia Power's Vogtle Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 & 2, and to assess the need for a supplemental En' '.~onmental Impact Statement in light of new forecasts for electricity demand submitted by Georgia Power to the Georgia Public Service Commission.
Your petition is being treated under 10 CFR 2.206 of the Commission's regulations, and accordingly, appropriate action will be taken on your petition within a reasonable time.
