Further to our August 5,1980 letter, the following is submitted in response to your letter dated April 4,1980 concerning I.E. Bulletin 79-03A.
Georgia Poiar Company has not identified any welded SA-312 or A-312 piping that exceeds pressure design stresses of 85% of the maximum allow-able stress at the design temperature. Westinghouse, our NSSS supplier, is still investigating this problem with their suppliers as applicable to equipment under their scope and has requested another extension to respond to this bulletin.
Georgia Power Company will provide the additional information con-cerning this bulletin by November 1,1980 if this is acceptable to you.
