Fire Protection Pursuant to the request for a license amendment delineated in Reference (b) ai.d Section 50.59 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations, the Yankee Atomic Electric Company hereby requests the authoriz:. tion to make the following changes to the Operating License:
PROPOSED CHANGE:
Reference is made to Yankee Rowe Operating License No. DPR-3.
We propose to modify the license as follows:
Appendix A, Technical Specifications:
A.
Replace page
- of the index with the attached revised page VI.
B.
Replace page 3/4 3-28 of section 3/4 3 with the attached revised page 3/4 3-28.
C.
Replace pages 3/4 7-30 through 3/4 7-37 of section 3/4 7 with the attached revised pages 3/4 7-30 through 3/4 7-37.
D.
Addition of new pages 3/4 7-38 through 3/4 7-40 to section 3/4 7.
E.
Replace page B 3/4 7-7 of the Bases section with the attached revised page B 3/4 7-7.

REASON FOR CHANCE:
Reference (b) requested Yankee Atomic Electric Company to submit a license 4
amendment application for the purpose of incorporating applicable
- specifications related to' facility modifications regarding our fire protection system.
SAFETY CONSIDERATION:
The addition of; Technical Specifications which relate to fire protection systems and which are being submitted in response to an NRC request do not endanger the health ~ and safety of the public. This Proposed Change has been reviewed.by the Nuclear' Safety Audit and Review Committee.
. SCHEDULE OF CHANGE:
These changes to Yankee Rowe Technical Specificatons will be made immediately upon completion of facility modifications and receipt of Commission approval.
