FINDINGS RELATED TO THE PROPOSED IMPORT OF LOW-Et1RICHED URANIUM FROM FRANCE - ISriM800ll Transnuclear, Inc., submitted an application dated September 9,1980 for a license authorizing the import of 1510 kilograms of uranium as UF, enriched to 1.15i;. TheshipmentwillconsistofonetypeB,30-inchcylindeh,IAEA USA /4900/B( )F.
This proposed import is essentially the same as previous imports of low-enriched UF6 and represents no material change in circumstances from conditions and j
findings which existed at the time of the earlier imports, reference ISNM 780017, a
ISNM 80007.
It is recommended that this license be issued.

The licensee shall obtain all information from the foreicn exporter pj necessary to complete the shipper's portion of Fom NRC-741, " Nuclear 2
Material Transactions Report."
If the licensee is the receiver of the 6'
material, he shall record both the shipper's and receiver's infomation k
on the Form NRC-741 and transmit pursuant to Section 70.54 of 10 CFR 3
Part 70.
If the licensee is not the receiver of the material, he shall k,
provide the shipper's information to the receiver of the material for M
inclusion on the receiver;s Fom NRC-741.

2, The licensee shall notify the appropriate regional Safeguards Branch, Office of Inspection and Enforcement, i. mediately, by telephone or p' -
telegram, if entry of any import shipmen-authorized by this license is refused by the U.S. Customs Service.

Each time material is imported, the licensee shall show the original of the license to U.S. Customs as authority for the import.
