NOTICE TO PARTIES OF MEETING ON EMERGENCY PLANNING ISSUES By Memorandum and Order of October 17, 1980, the Licensing Board has directed that prehearing matters relating to emergency planning be discussed at a hearing session commencing on October 30, 1980, at 9:00 a.m.
In order to better prepare for that hearing all parties having emergency planning contentions are invited to an informal meeting to be held at the meeting room in the NRC Staff hearing offices, 34 North Court Street, Harris-burg, Pennsylvania 17101, commencing at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 1980.
The primary subject matter to be discussed is the status of NRC/ FEMA review of emergency preparedness
.around TMI-l and the schedule for consideration of emergency planning matters at the hearing.
This discussion.will include the issues identified in the Commornalth of Pennsylvania's filing of October 20, 1980.
