In my letter to you dated August 5,1980, I indicated that I would provide your office with copies of two reports concerning the effects of quarry blasting on the Limerick Generating Station Site.

The first report is from J. F. Devine, Acting Assistant Director for Engineering Geology USGS dated July 25, 1980 with an adde.,dum letter dated August 11, 1980. The second report was generated by the Philadelphia Electric Company as a result of aa NRC request on December 18, 1979. This report, " Comparison of Near Site Quarry Blast Characteristics to the Seismic Design at Limerick Generating Station" was transmitted to NRC on July 29, 1980.

In reviewing my letter of July 25, 1980, to you concerning thr Limerick e

Generating Station, Units 1 and 2, Docket Nos. 30-332/333, I nave dis-covered that an incorrect word was used in describing distances from the future blasting and Class 1 structures at the Limerick plant site.

The word " maximum" in the second line of the fourth paragraph of the first page of review comments should have read " mini =m."

This now makes that sentence consistent with the first sentence of the first paragraph of page 2 of my comments.
