' BOSTON EDIS0N COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE
'The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment No. 43 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-35, issued to Boston Edison Corpany (the licensee), which revised the license for operation of the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station, Unit No.1 (the facility),
located in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
The amendment is effective as of the date of issuance and is to be fully implemented within 30 days of Commission approval in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 73.40(b).
The amendment adds license conditions to include the Commission-approved Safeguards Contingency Plan as part of the license.
.The licensee's filing complies with the standards and' requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations.
The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR' Chapter.I, which is set forth in the license amendment.
