d I$ closed for your review please find an October 10.-1980 letter.from Carpenter Technology Corporatiw advising us of revisions to their application for a '
license to export zircaloy reactor components to West Semany for ultimate use r
in the Atucha-2 Nuclear power Station in Argentina (XCom035)._ The revisions include an incrass in the quantity and value of the pieces proposed for export, the addition of certain hafhim camponents, and a new shipment date of December 1980. In the letter Carpenter expresses urgency in processing the export license as the West 8eman customer inay cancel the order and purchast the' components from a'non-U.S. source which can provide the components.on a more_ timely basis.
pleast consider this revised license request in conjunction with Carpenter's original application-dated August 18, 1978 which was transmitted to you on August-30..1978.
