On October 9,1980, the Ccxanission acted on this Board's question certified to it and on two appeals pending before it from this Board's 1/
CbMem's deniel of requests under the Freedcxn of Information Act.Both the certified question and the requests related to the so-called Reed Report
~which had been furnished to the Board by General Electric Company in confi-i dance pursuant to a protective order which was agreed to by the parties in this proceeding. The procedural history of this matter is nere fully set forth in.this Board's certification to the Comcission of May 30, 1979, and the Cecmis-sion's Manorandum And Order of October 9,1980, and consequently need not be repeated here.
In its October 9th Manorandum And Order, the Cacmission vacated the i
protective order, referred to above, under which the Reed Report had been maintained in confidence and under which the transcripts of the hearing 1/ Memorandum And Order On Certified Question: Return Of GE Nuclear Reactor iltudy, CLI-80-35, 12 NP4 (1980).
