Subject:

Submittal of Additional Information in Support of Vermont Yankee Proposed Change No. 90, Hydrogen Monitoring Sy : tem

Dear Sir:

The purpose of this letter is to forward information requested by your etaff *;o aid in their review of the subject proposed change. The information requested involved the distance of the newly designated primary containment isolation valves from the primary containment and its extension. This information is depicted in schematic form on the attached disgram along with some valve numbers previously omitted. Regarding the valve locations, it should be noted that the valves ~are already located as close to the primary containment and. its extension as practical. It should also be noted that although the "a + b" dimension on the attached drawing is shown as seven feet, approximately two feet is taken up by short pipe runs and pipe fittings, so the previously communicated dimension of five feet was not erroneous.

We trust that the information given above is acceptable; however, should you have any questions please contact us.

Very tru.y yours, VERMONT YANKEE MUCLEAR POWER CORPORATION
