IE Bulletin 79-28 i

This letter is submitted as a result of the requirements of IE Bulletin 79-28, and is subsequent to our letter of July 9,-1980 (TLL 335).

The subject Bulletin, "Possible Malfunction of Namco Model EA180 Limit Switches at Elevated Temperatures", addresses a possible failure mode due to a manu-facturing deficiency for a given production lot of this switch.

In accordance with Action 1 of this bulletin, we have reviewed the system in the Unit 2 facility to determine if the subject switches are utilized. We have determined that no Namco Model EA180 limit switches are utilized in this faci-lity. Therefore, Actions 2 and 3 of this bulletin are not applicable to TMI-2.

This constitutes our entire and complete response to this bulletin.
