Dear Mr. Farnell:
In Paragraph No. 76 of the Licensing Board's Initial Decision in the Midland show cause proceeding (LBP-74-71, 8 AEC 584 at 606-07), the Licensing Board discussed various meetings and procedures, the purpose of which was stated to be "to ensure that management personnel remains informed of quality assurance activities at the Midland site" (p. 606).
The Licensing Board specifically discussed meetings to be held "at least quar-terly" (p. 606) between the Vice President, Electric Plant Projects, and repre-sentatives of General Office Quality Assurance, Midland Field Ouality Assurance and the Midland Project.
Reports of these meetings were to be subnitted to the Senior Vice President. The Licensing Board also referred to a monthly resume of quality assurance activities to be sent by Consumers' Project Quality Assurance Services Department (PQASD) to the Vice President, Electric Plant Projects.
Please send me copies of the reports of the quarterly meetings and copies of the monthly resume of quality assurance activities for the last three months of 1974 and for the years 1975 through 1979.
