In accordance with your application dated June 24, 1980, and pursuant to Title-10, Code of Federal' Regulations, Part 70, Special Nucleat Material License No. SNM-1107 is hereby amended to authorize use of -special nuclear material in the Advanced Waste Treatment Process.
All other conditions of this license sh'all remain the same.
As discussed by Mr. E. Reitler of Westinghouse and Mr. E. McAlpine of the Safeguards Division, this approval ~is based on retention of the recovered uranium in the hold tank.
This restriction on the disposition of the uranium remains in force until you have satisfied the requirements of the Safeguards Division and received their authorization for further disposition of the uranium recovered in the new process.
