By letter dated July 22, 1980, you requested withdrawal of your April 2, 1980 application for revision to Certificate of Compliance No. 4986, and a refund of the $2,800 amendment fee.

Under 10 CFR 170 it is Commission practice to recover review cests using the procedures of Footnotes 1(d) and 4 to 10 CFR 170.31 (copy enclosed) when the review of the amendment application is complete.

Since the review of your application has been completed, we have determined the actual expenditures for professional manpower from the date the applica-tion was filed to the date of withdrawal.

The actual costs for the review were $1,900; therefore, we have notified the NRC Office of the Controller to refund $900 to your Company.
