Pursuant to discussions with members of your staff (Phil Johnson), we l
would like to update our previous response of July 2, 1980 to IE Bulle-l tin 80-03 dealing with Containment penetration' welds. At the time.of i
our re,ponse, we were crissing documentation for 14 Containment penetra-l tion velds'(19 penetrations).
Documentation has been found for the welds identified'in Table 1 of the attachment to our July 2, 1980 response as Item 1 (Penetration P-1-1), Item 51 (Penetration P-57-1) and Item 74 (Penetration P-39-1).
Unfortunately, we are still-unable to locate the l
documentation for the other 11 welds; however, we have substantive evi-l dence that the examinations'were performed and will continue to research our records in an attempt-to locate the missing documentation for these penentrations and welds.
