I Th'e emergency planning program for the Dresden site was previously

reviewed in connection with the licensing of Unit 3 and was found acceptable, as reported in the Dresden Unit 3 Safety Evaluation Report dated 11/18/70.
The licensee, by letter dated 2/18/75, has submitted an updated version of the Generating Stations Emergency Plan (GSEP).
This document is applicable to all Commonwealth Edison generating stations and considers the consequences of radiological and nonradiological emergencies for its nuclear and fossil plants.
The GSEP describes the

emergency organization including assignments of authority and responsibility.

lt provides for detecting.and evaluating emergency conditions, protective measures, liaison with offsite support groups, document review and control, periodic emergency preparedness assessment, and training of the participating personnel.
We have reviewed the Generating Stations Emergency Plan and we find that it meets tne requiremennt of 10. CFR Part 50, Appendix E, is responsive to the specific requirements of the staff, and provides a basis for an acceptable' state of emergency preparedness.
