Although the Pennsylvania Public Utility Camlission regulates the rates charged by Metropolitan Edison Ccupany, the IAlclear Regulatory Comtission regulates the safety and licensing of nuclear facilities. I y

have therefore taken the liberty of forwarding your letter directly to then.

l As part of our current investigaticn we are evanining the ability of Metropolitan Edison to pIcVide cafe and adequate service at reasonable rates for its entire service territory, including ncn-nuclear facilities.
