REVIEW 0F AMENDMENT APPLICATION DATED JUNE 27, 1980, REGARDING MINOR INCREASE IN POSSESSION LIMIT, 07001257A04S The subject application concerns an increase in the possession limit under License No. SNM-1227 for uranium of any enrichment from 5 wt. % to 94 wt. %,
which is used for' analytical purposes.
The proposed increase from 10 to 35 grams will permit Exxon to receive a spectrometer standard weighing about.
22 grams.
This is a minor increase in Exxon's overall possession limit (which includes 10,000 kilograms of U-235 as uranium of no more than 5%
enrichment) and should present no unique safety or other problems to Exxon.
Approval of the application is. redommended.
