Dear George:
I would like to express my appreciation to B&W and to you personally for your efforts in a very fine week of training at Lynchburg. From my standpoint it was time well spent. 1 gained a better understanding of a B&W plant.
la general the course material was well thoughtout, detail enough to get the picture and well presented by the tastructors.
To indicate areas of' improvement is somewhat difficult. However, the following are a few thoughts I had regarding the training course.
1.
The first day was a back breaker. Think you would have been farther ahead to present " Simulator Familiarisation" first thing Tuesday morning.
More effort should be made to review the plant by systems.
Then put them all together. From that have a sessic n on the simulator.
2.
The B&W Test Program lecture was very worthwhile and should be Lacluded in your regular program.
3.
The semaion on " Economics" was unfortunately interrupted by the speaker having to leave unexpectedly. Thought the ball was dropped here. The class sat around and did nothing.
This resulted in time wasted. This gap could have been filled by a question and answer session until the speaker returned.
