The attached Technical Specifications change is required to allow new fuel buniiles with center rod position auxiliary neutren sources to be used for the next operational cycle. Thus, issuance of an A=endment to Facility Operating License DPR-6 for 31.I Rock Pcint for this change is required prior to ctart-up (apprcximately 12/15/S0) following the upccming refueling cutage. The preposed change removes detailed descriptiens concerning the locatien of the auxiliar/
neutren sources vithin the core and fuel bundle. Justification for these changes is previded by the attached Technical Specificatiens change discussion.
The proposed change has been dete. ined to be a Class III change, pursuant to 10C7R 170.22. A check in the amount of $h,J00 is attached.
