Dear Mr. Grier:

Philadelphia Electric Company has reviewed IE Bulletin 80-19,

" Failures of Mercury-Wetted Matrix Relays in Reactor Protective Systems of Operating Nuclear Power Plants Designed by Combustion Engineering",

submitted with the subject letter received on August 7, 1980.

We have determined that there are no Mercury-Wetted Relays of the type described in IE Bulletin 80-19 used or planned for use in the Reactor Protection Systems at Limerick Generating Station Units 1 and 2.

An expenditure of 80 MH was required for this review and the preparation of this report.
