I TLL 300 RESPONSE TO IE EULLETIN 80-10 A review of the facility design, including operational practices, was performed to identify systems that we considered to be nonradioactive but could possibly become radioactive through interfaces with radioactive systems.

This review gave special consideration to the following systems: Auxiliary Boiler System, Demineralized Water System, Condenser Vacuum System, Service Air System, Condensate Polishing Filter Unit System (Powdex System), Instrument Air System, and the Sanitary Waste System.

Procedure changes due to this review have been implemented.

A review of the Unit 1 Routine Sampling / Analysis Program resulted in an additional sampling requirement.

The' procedural changes have been implemented.

The requirements of items 3 and 4 of IE Bulletin 80-10 will be delinated in the appropriate sampling procedures.

In addition, guidance will be implemented detailing the administrative controls to be initiated with respect to the requirements of items 3 and 4 of IE Bulletin 80-10.

The above requirments are expected to be completed by September 22, 1980.

The details and specifics of the above stated reviews and subsequent procedure changes will be available for your on-site review.
