Other commitments among the parties to the captioned proceeding have pre-vented completion of the negotiations in progress regarding contentions.

As a result, Staff counsel is unable to relate the nature of the agreement reached to date or otherwise anticipated. Staff counsel, nevertheless, believes that progress has been achieved in arriving at an informal reso-lution of many of the contentions proposed in this matter.

Counsel hopes to be able to present the Board with some evidence of this agreement in the near future.
