Dear Mr. MacDonald:
We wish to be registered as a user of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory shipping container [ Certificate of Compliance / USA /5740-BL(D0E-0R), REV2].
Two californium so~urces are to be shipped from Oak Ridge, Tennessee, to NBS for calibration. After calibration one of these sources and a second one, NS-92, manufactured at Oak Ridge, will be forwarded to Professor Philip Plato University of Michigan, under an inter-agency agreement to support a calibration and measurement-assurance program with the Nuclear Regulatory Comission's pilot study of performance testing of personne' dosimetry. Our By Product Materials License Number is 08-00566-05, which expires 12/31/82.
