IN RESPONSE REFER Washington, DC 20006 TO F01A-80-386

Dear Mr. Jordan:

This is in response to your letter dated July 23, 1980, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, on behalf of Concerned Citizens of Rhode Island, copies of all records pertaining to four categories of information with regard to the United Nuclear Corporation plant and waiver of search and copying fees. Also, this confirms the telephone conversations between Linda Robinson of my staff and you and Ellyn Weiss of your firm on August 7 and 11 in 5 hich the following information was provided.

Reccrds which pertain to this plant-have already been made available for public inspection and copying at the NRC Public Document Room (PDR), -

Also, in response to a previous F0IA request, copies of reports of periodic safety inspections carried out in the years 1964 through 1974 by NRC's Office of Inspection and Enforcement at this plant are contained at the PDR in folder F01A-75-25 under the name of Jane Lapere. The charge for reproducing records located in the PDR is eight ($0.08) per page, as specified in 10 CFR 9.14(a).
