Dear Sir:
Enclosed please find five sets of replacement sheets commensurate with the removal of Crucial Task Nos.13 and 71 from the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station Security Force Training and Qualification Plan which was submitted on August 13, 1979.
Both of these Tasks referred to the use of an explosives-detecting canine to search vehicles and materials prior to access to the Pilgrim Station Protected Area. Since the canine has been replaced by physical search and detection, there is no reason to retain these tasks in our Training and Qualification Plan, and we are submitting this deletion prior to acceptance of the Plan.
Pursuant to Section 2.790(d) of 10 CFR, Part 2, we respectfully request with-holding the infonnation provided in enclosures to this letter from public inspection. Withholding from public inspection does not affect the right, if any, of persons properly and directly concerned with the project to inspect the infonnation.
