APPLICANT'S RESPONSE TO JOHN DOHERTY'S MOTION FOR ADDITIONAL TIME TO ANSWER MOTIONS FOR SUM'iARY DISPOSITION On October 22, 1980, John Doherty filed a request for another extension of time within which to respond to motions for summary disposition. In granting Mr. Doherty's earlier request for an ex-tension the Beard' stated unequivocally that no further extensions would be granted. (Board order dated October 1, 1980). Mr.

Doherty was also expressly so informed during a conference call held on the same day. Mr. Doherty has provided no grounds to warrant this Board's reversing its explicit ruling.

As the commencement of evidentiary hearings is approaching it is crucial that the parties be held to strict adherence to

the Commission's rules regarding timely filings, as well as orders of the Board.
