Dear Mr. Gadler:
Mr. Wendell flarshall's letter of October 1,1980 to Mr. R. Tedesco asked whether the NRC has received a reply to its requests of August 27, 1980 for additional information regarding dewatering for Midland Plant, Units 1 and 2.
We are advised by Consumers Power Company that their reply will be submitted on October 31, 1980. The response will be contained in addi-tional pages to be added to the document entitled " Responses to NRC Re-quests Regarding Plant Fill" which was originally submitted on February 11, 1980 as part of Amendment 72 to the Company's application.
A review of the service list used by Consumers Power Company indicates that fir. Marshall should receive a copy of the reply directly, once issued. Should this not occur, please do not hesitate to contact me.
