p I have reviewed your Confidential State ent of Employment and Financial Interests (Fom NP.C-269) and note that you report, as a fomer employee of Westinghouse Corporation, a vested interest in their pension olan.

1 In order to allow you to work on matters involving Westinghouse Corporation, j

an exerption from the provisions of 10 CFit 0.735-21 must be granted.

l A review of the tems of the Westinghouse Corporation pension fund by the Office of the General Councel has revealed that as an HRC employee

4 you cannot influence, in any fashion, the amount you receive as a pension from Westinghouse Corporation.

j Based upon this finding, I have detemined that your intere3t in the Westing-E house Corporation pension fund is not so substantial as to be deemed i

likely to affect the integrity of your services to NRC and that no l

provision of law and no NRC regulation would appear to be violated by
