OPERABILITY OF THE LOW HEAD SAFETY INJECTION PUMPS AT NORTH ANNA UNIT N0. 2 In a memorandum dated September 29, 1980 R. Bosnak to Z. R. Rosztoczy (attached), the Mechanical Engineering Branch states that there is a i
possible deficiency in the operability of the low head safety injection l
pumps and suggested a more detailed investigation of the pump's operability under accident conditions.
Please imediatley review this matter to determine the significance of the problem and ' advise us of what action must be taken.
