l1 2.2 Notification Kingston has elected to be notified upon the declaration of an UNUStRL EVIINP. Se Rockingham County Dispatch Center (RCDC) will initiate LNUSIRL IMNT notification to the Kingston Police Depart 2nent. Kingston maintains 24-hour police coverage with an officer either on duty or en call. During duty hours, the Police Departsnant maintains continuous ocumunications with town, county, and state law enforcenant agencies. During on call hours, the officer en M1 will be notified by pocket voice pagar or telephcmo. To cover the possibility of a police officer not being available, a secondary notification path is in place.

'Ibe Town of Kingston is served by an established ocumunications netmark.

'!he Police Station ~, Fire Station and BOC are all located in one building en Main Street. '!he Kingstcm Police Daru.L at is dispatched by Rockingham County Dispatch. 'Ihe Kingston Fire Department is also dispatched by Rockingham County Dispatch. '

Initial notification of an incidant at Seabrook Station to the Kingston l emergency response organizaticn would occur as follows. 'the Utility would notify the New Hampshire State Police Canunications Center, and the NH State Police dispatcher would notify Rockingham County Dispatch Center (RCDC). RCDC will notify the Police Officer On Duty or On Call via radio pager. 'Ihe Police Officer has the primary responsibility for verifying the reosipt of the radio page to the

( emergency response organization for the town. The Police Officer will receive j subsequent updates and informaticn frmt RCDC until the EOC becomes operaticmal.

Once the EDC is operaticmal, it will beccune the focus of all emergency ocumunications for the town.

l 'Ihis dispatch area hr.a been equipped with enhanced car:unications capabilities to j handle additional ocumunications associated with the RERP. Incal emergency management field operaticns are conducted en VHF-HB fregoencies. The fire I

1 frequencies will be used only for fire fighting activities, the police L frequencies will be utilized pri=v41y for traffic / access control and for

! coordinating other law enforcement activities.
