Dear Director:
Car current " Possession Only" license expires on April 7,1990. It is our intent to decommission our reactor facility and we are now preparing a contract for the preparation of a specific decommissioning plan. This plan L
will be submitted to the NRC on or before July 27, 1990.
Since the facility license most probably will expire prior to the submission date of our completed decommissioning plan, we hereby apply for a one-year extension of our current license. No changes in the wording of the license or Technical Specifications are sought.
