SNM-696; Changes to Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan
Dear Mr. Martin:
A recent review of our Fundamental Nuclear Material Control (FNMC) Plan, prompted by the recent reduction in quantity of Strategic Special. Nuclear Material in Plant I (HTGR Fuel Manufacturing), revealed a need to revise certain sections Cif the FNMC plan, The changes in this revision were made pursuant to 10 CFR l
70.32(c).
Typical type changes are stated below:
Section 2 Quality Control Laboratory was removed from Plant I and j
added to Plant V.

i Physical Boundaries was redefined for Plant IV.
Figure 2.1.1-1 was revised to show current control areas in Sorrento Valley.
-Figure 2.1.1-2 was revised to show the current site boundary.
Section 3 Table 3.7-1:

Item Discrepancies was revised to clarify current reporting requirement.
Enclosed herein are copics of the revised pages of the plan.
Some sections have been replaced in their entirety-due to changes in the numbering of the pages.
'Please revise your copies of the FNMC Flan in accordance with the enclosed instruction sheet, Attachment I.
All changes have been identified by a ruled margin.
Additional changes will be necessary to the FNMC Plan since planning for the decommissioning of Plant I has commenced.
