18th and F Streets NW.

Washington, DC 20405

Dear Mr. Austin:

'I wish to offer my appreciation for the outstanding support given by the General Services Administration (GSA) when a tornado struck our office building in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, on November 16, 1989.

A GSA team from your Region 111 office, led by Mr. George P. Cordes, Regional Administrator, and Mr. Thurman M. Davis, Assistant Regional Administrator, Public Buildings Service, was on-site immediately. They offered technical assistance to our staff and effectively coordinated the necessary repairs-to the building. Our f acility sustained considerable damage but, due to the efforts of the GSA team, the impact on our ability to continue operations was minimal.

I am grateful for their efforts and, on behalf of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, commend them for the commitment and dedication they displayed during this emergency.

~

Sincerely,

_w?
