i Enclosed are technical reports prepared by Babcock and Wilcox, Bechtel-KWU
. Alliance (Universal Testing Laboratories) and Combustion Engineering, cIncorporated,-describing-the sleeving repair processes which will be used.
Since these reports contain information proprietary to these respective owners,Lauthorization letters and affidavits are provided as Attachments C, D and E..The affidavits set forth the basis on which the information may be withheld from public: disclosure by the Commission.and specifically addresses the considerations listed in Paragraph (b)(4)'of Section 2.790 to the Commission's regulations. Accordingly, it is respectfully requested that the' enclosed technical reports be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with' Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 2.790.
P1' ease note that the Babcock and Wilcox Report addresses sleeving only in the tube sheet region of the steam generator. A revised report will be
. submitted in January clearly indicating changes that incorporate sleeving in.the tube uupport plate regions.
