Joseph M. Parley Nuclear Plant - Units 1 and 2 Response to the.NRC Request for Additional Information
- for the Inservice Inspection Program
-By letter of August.3, 1989, the NRC requested a response to questions generated by its consultant, Idaho National Engineering--Laboratory (INEL),
regarding the Farley Nuclear Plant ISI Programs. This response was requested within-45 days of receipt of the August 3, 1989 letter to facilitate INEL review. By letter of September-21, 1989, Alabama Power Company committed to-provide an initial response by October 6, 1989.
In a letter dated October 5, 1989, Alabama Power Company provided a response to most of the questions posed in the request for additional information and committed to provide the remaining information by December 1, 1989.
Due to the magnitude and. nature of this-request in conjunction with the fall Unit-1 refueling. outage and the NRC inservice testing inspection conducted in-0ctober, Alabama Power Company now plans to submit the final response by December 15, 1989.
If there are any questions or if additional information is needed, please advise.
