This request is submitted in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR Part 50, e

Section 50.90, Thistlicense amendment was prepared following the. guidance provided in Generic j

Letter.88-16.

This change proposes the removal of cycle-specific core 1

-operating limits from the Technical Specifications and creation of a new Core Operating Limits Report.

The limita removed from the Technical Specifications will be placed in the Core Operating _ Limits Report.

j Exhibit'A contains a description of the proposed changes, the reasons for

-requesting the changes and a Safety Evaluation / Determination of Significant

' Hazards Considerations.

Exhibit B contains Technical Specification pages from-the License Amendment approved October 27, 1989 marked up to show the propcsed changes.
