i Gentlemen:

Reference (a) proposed Technical Specifications changes to our Plant Operations and Safety - Review Committee (POSRC) composition. Subsequent to the Reference (a) submittal, we requested ' that the NRC. Staff delay consideration of those changes, since we planned to modify them. Reference -(b) requests that we ' determine and notify 1

the NRC' Staff as to whether we desire to have the request considered, or should it instead be withdrawn.

.We withdraw the POSRC composition proposed changes, CIIANGE NO. 2 of Reference (a).

We are still evaluating.. improvements to POSRC, including composition changes.

4 We have been complying, and will continue to comply with the commitment we made to have

~an' individual holding a Senior Reactor Operator license for Calvert Cliffs as a POSRC member. This will be formalized in our future request.
