Southern Company, regularly performs a vide range of services for Alabama LPower company, including security, in accordance with the attached letter-of April 24, 1969.
Services in connection with nuclear generation are provided under the general. supervision of the Executive Vice President of Alabama Power Company, whose offices are also at 40 Inverness Center Parkway.
L As coordinator, Mr. Mitchell vill be responsible for review and evaluation E
- of Criminal History Check results, which will be reported to management for decision.
The final disposition vill remain the responsibility of the Alabama Power Company's Senior Vice President or Vice President - Nuclear, of their designees.
As Manager Corporate Security-Nuclear, Mr. Mitchell vill be able to limit the dissemination of criminal history information effectively, confining it solely for the purposes permitted by statute in connection with nuclear plant access authorization. Mr. Mitchell is fully cognizant of, and vill comply with, 5606 of Public Law 99-399 (42 U.S.C. $2169) and applicable i
regulations (10CFR73.57) to limit the dissemination of such information and l
to ensure.that such information is used solely for the purpose of determining whether an individual shall be permitted unescorted access to the facility of a licensee or applicant or shall be permitted access to safeguards information.

staff which has been relocated to Inverness. These support services are being furnished to Alabama Power Company under the Amended and Restated Agreement dated as of January 1,1984 between Southern Company Services, Inc., and Alabama Power Company (the " Service 4 reement").
